Image Transfer

The image transfer technique, which involves the use of acetate, has become an integral part of my artistic exploration. This process allows me to transfer photographic imagery onto a variety of surfaces, offering both versatility and an element of surprise. Its experimental nature opens up new possibilities for reinterpreting and presenting visual content. For this series, I selected a large number of my own photographic works and transferred them onto diverse materials, including wooden panels, fine art paper, and even cloth. Each surface introduces its own unique texture and character to the images, transforming the familiar into something new. The interaction between the material and the image often results in unexpected outcomes, which I embrace as part of the creative process. This approach not only deepens the connection between my photography and material experimentation but also expands the narrative potential of each piece. By exploring the interplay between medium and imagery, I aim to create works that challenge conventional perceptions and invite viewers to engage with the tactile and conceptual layers of the artwork.
